I had a random idea about selection tools, and that's that it would be cool to have a "selectify" modifier. I bolded the ones that I think appear most often (and are generally expected) and can't be emulated with combinations of other selection-related actions. I probably missed some other uses that don't immediately come to mind, too. Some of this would be out of scope for MyPaint, probably, because it's not trying to be as complex as Gimp or Krita, but it helps emphasise how complicated selection and related operations can be. Set MyPaint's image frame to the selection (or closest possible rectangle), as an analogue to Select->Crop behaviour.Apply transformations on the selection, such as rotating, resizing, etc.Shorthand for cut->new layer->paste to layer->move layer->merge Basically a way to save a selection for later. Sometimes done via handles on the current selection, or by allowing add/subtract behaviour with normal selection methods.
